The Actuarial Association of UCSB and the Department of Statistics and Applied Probability are proud to present the 1st Virtual Career Season to be held between September and November.
Major insurance companies and consulting firms will be represented throughout the event period. Students will have the opportunity to network with practicing actuaries, obtain information, and submit resumes for summer internships and full-time positions.

Timelines for information sessions and other recruitment events will be updated through the following platforms:
- Actuarial Program Email List Events of some recruiters may involve online reservations of individual/small group activities. Please pay close attention to published event information and sign up accordingly. Dress Code: Business formal Even though all events will be held virtually, we still recommend you dress up for any chance you will be opening your camera and facing the recruiters. Standard business attire is recommended, which means a suit and tie for men and comparable attire for women. Resume Guidelines We will collect resumes from all paid members of the Actuarial Association and make a resume booklet to provide to all participating companies. A deadline to submit your resume is October 10th, 2020 at 23:59 pm PDT.
